The HD+ Team has an in-depth understanding of the needs of dialysis patients.  Matching our desire to improve patient treatment outcomes with technical and business know-how, the team is dedicated to bringing this new technology to market. 

Experience in Management:  The HD+ team is lead by Mr. Michael Baker, a business professional leveraging over 25 years of senior management with GE Medical, Philips Medical and Lockheed Martin.  HD+'s CTO, Dr. Julie Wrazel, is an expert in microfluidic device development and manufacturing thanks to a 29 year history with Hewlett-Packard.  Additional key management include VP of Clinical Affairs, Jim Curtis, who began his lifelong career in dialysis in 1967 when his mother began performing nocturnal dialysis treatments at home, and Marketing Director, Brenda Edin, a business development professional with several years supporting growth stage companies.

Experience in Healthcare:  HD+ is honored to have some of the top medical professionals in the nephrology field on our Medical Advisory Board.  These include world-renowned nephrologist, Dr. Richard Drake, inventor of one of the first commercially available hemodialysis machine (Drake-Willock Company), Dr. Michael Alperin and John Hopkins-trained Dr. Ohnn Nahm.  Each of these team members bring a unique expertise and an extraordinary amount of hands-on dialysis related experience.

Experience in Product Development: HD+ has developed strategic partnerships with contract engineering company, Starfish Medical, and industrial design firm, White Box Design. Utilizing the vast experience and knowledge of these well respected teams greatly enhances HD+'s product development abilities and significantly decrease the time required to bring our system to market.
